Toxic waste left on surface after borehole drilling

Clearly someone didn’t get the memo from the Environment Agency expressing that what lies under the topsoil of Nutsford Vale is deeply toxic, as it was noted today that surrounding more than one borehole there was waste from the landfill below sat on the surface. It seems that during the test drilling into the landfill below the surface some of the decomposing rubbish (appearing to date from the 1970s) has come up with water/gas etc and the surveyors found it perfectly acceptable to leave it exposed on the surface in a public area frequented by children, wild animals and pets.

The council has been made aware.
