After 6 weeks, the borehole by the community orchard has finally been filled in! I had waited and waited in blind optimism for someone to come and finish the job, but they never came. On Tuesday 28th Barrie and I contacted the Council to report this as an error and ask that it be rectified immediately. An officer attended on Wednesday and it was filled in with material and grit. I’m not sure that we should have to ensure that people who professionally perform land surveys fill the holes they make in the ground!
